I would like to learn some OpenGL so am not looking for pure abstraction of the graphics layer eitherДЄ quick rundown of things I have heard about the above.My background is mostly Java but I want to learn something new! I would like to use Lua if possible as I have heard some good things about it and its quite widely used in game dev and RAD tools. Have some form of RAD development - can be code hot-swapping or tiny compile / load time.Have good support network (forums, dev support, wikis, large community).Not be really expensive - ideally for me thats not really more than a few hundred dollars a year.Support as many platforms as possible (Android and iOS a must).I know I have left many out but these looked like the most promising from my research. These are just my first impressions after a quick look at the below so will not be a detailed comparison.

It would also be great to be able to target more than one platform with the same codebase.
